Cleansing Crystals with Salt Water

For a long time, salt has been used to absorb negativity and unwanted energy. Crystals cleansing can be performed using salt water, water mixed with sea salt or simply with sea water. If sea salt or sea water is not available, cooking salt can also be used.

To cleanse your crystals, fill a glass bowl with salt water. The bowl should be full enough, so it is possible to fully submerge the crystals in the water. Let them be submerged for one to twenty-four hours, depending on the crystals. Some people choose to leave the crystal submerged overnight, but crystals which need a deep and thorough cleansing may even be left submerged for one week.

After the duration of submersion is complete, you must wash the crystals properly under cool running water to remove all the remaining salt. The salt water must be disposed of after use. This water must never be used again for anything as it now contains all the negative and unwanted energies.
